Perfect for in-cabin airline travel. The bowl collapses to less than an inch, so the bowl fits in the small pocket of a pet carry-on bag. Used it at the airport dog relief area, so did not even have to purchase bottled water. Cover kept the bowl from dripping on other items in the pocket...but I did not try the cover with the bowl full of water.
This is a well made bowl and it would have gotten five stars if the size of the bowl had been advertised correctly. i ordered the bowl thinking it was 2.5 cups as advertised. In reality, the bowl is 1 liter which is equivalent to 33 oz or a little over 4 cups. This is too large for my needs so i will be returning it.

This collapsible bowl has worked out perfectly. I pack it in our dogs backpack and he loves to use it when we are out hiking. It is tough and heavy duty but folds flat. The 2.5 cup size holds just the right amount of water for our GSD.
