Our Himilayan hates to be brushed but we tried this and he will lay there enjoying it. Finally we are able to brush him.

We have tried the Easy Groom on two English setters, a malamute mix, and a golden mix. It does a good job of working out all but the largest matts in all of these types of coats. (The biggest matts, we cut with a scissors, from the skin outward, and use the Easy Groom to remove the excess, dead hair.) We've had a similar tool before that did not have the "rotating teeth," but this one seems to work better. Also great for removing shedding undercoat fur in the malamute, who REALLY sheds and does not like her fur pulled. Comfortable for a woman's hands, and not bad for a man's.
