Although it lacks the looks of this log, "West Paw Design Guaranteed Tough Bumi Dog Toy" is a much better toy for the water-oriented dog.

Giving it 4 stars because my dog had it ripped open the same day she got it. If it was as strong as the other reviews said it was I would give 5 stars. She still plays with it without the stuffing.

My dog (Golden Retriever) played with it for a while when we first got it. I thought she might like it more because she loves sticks. After the first week she really didn't care much for it.

It has never ripped or broke in anyway, and it is still sitting in her basket of toys. I have no reason to rate this item low.

I bought this Coleman water stick as well as a few other water toys for my Weimaraner for swimming in our pool this summer. This was by far his favorite of all the toys I purchased! He typically likes the water but is not a dog that would go in the pool by himself unless I or another family member was in the pool. Not with this toy! Smokey would jump in before I could even pick up the toy! I won't even tell you how difficult it was to get him out of the pool at the end of the play session. Let's just say I couldn't even bribe him with a cookie:) It is pretty durable as well. He has not managed to maul it yet. Thanks for making such a great water toy Coleman!

My dogs prefer a water toy that is more round and soft for fetching in the water. They don't really fetch sticks though.
