My cat loves this toy. The lights in it are bright. The toy is motion activated. My cat discovered how to trigger the lights almost immediately, and loved it! The only problem is that you cannot replace the batteries.

We got this for our cat to be self-entertained with at night (rather than waking us up to play) and it's been fairly successful. It's easy for him to get to light up and keeps his attention pretty well. It's a good size for him to wrestle around with too. It is utterly transfixing to our dog too, but she is a little rough with it and the cat gets pretty fiesty and jealous when she has it.

my dogs love it, cat loves it and the conure loves it. It blinks in 3 places with minimal movement, and shuts off after than. The blinking is a red color. It is lite and easly to play with. I don't know how it would stand up if you have very distructive animals. I just bought 3 more. I would have bought it from amazon, but it was an addon item. Amazon wanted me to buy something from amazon in order to get this at a cheaper price. But I really didn't want to do that. I didn't have the time to choose something...now. I eneded up buying it from another retailer for a few bucks more. My animals certainly don't care. I would rather pay a bit more than feel forced to buy something else. To me it was the a pressure tactic and I'd never felt that way from amazon. Unfortunate.
