Nylon Fun Tunnel, Length 53" (4.5 feet)

Okay so I have to explain how this tunnel changed my cat's life. But before I do, let me go over some things you might want to know before purchasing.

Pros:

1) It's big (well bigger than a lot of other tunnels). It's about 4 feet long and has a hole in the middle where the cats can jump in and out or surprise each other in the middle.

2) It has a cool toy that hangs down that gives fun and at least an hour of enjoyment to your cats / kittens / and maybe even a small dog (who doesn't like to chew).

3) It appears mostly sturdy (see cons). It's made out of nylon material and appears to be stretched overal spiral type wire. It's strong (my cats have tried to nibble on it a time or two) and it holds up over time (I've had it now for a few months).

Cons:

1) It's not 13 feet like the description says. I'm not sure if I misread that or if they actually are advertising it as 13 feet. Regardless, it's about 4 feet. Most tunnels I've found are about 3 feet and about 8 inches in diameter. This one is about 4 feet and is about 12 inches in diameter--so it's okay for bigger cats like my ragdoll.

2) I did mention it was sturdy-but with one exception. Unfortunately, my cats have played with it so much, that one of the ending wires has actually poked through the nylon stitching and is all but impossible to push back in. With some pushing and some patience, I can put it back in there, but unless I find some super strong thread to fix this issue, I expect it's going to poke out again which could be dangerous to your kitties so you definitely want to watch this product over time to make sure it's still together and has no pieces sticking out.

So I got a rescued Ragdoll to join my other Ragdoll, and he was terrified. For days, he hid behind a desk in our office. Then one day, he discovered the crinkle tunnel. At first, he walked up to it, thinking it might be perfect as another hiding spot. But once he touched it, and he heard it crinkle, he suddenly started walking through it--first one side then the other, and he'd poke his head out of the hole and look at us as if to say, "Really? This is for me?" His last owner never gave him any toys and unfortunately, this poor guy didn't know how to play. But this crinkle tunnel really helped him come out of his shell.

Overall: Wonderful wonderful toy. I'm really glad I got it and I'm hoping when I need to replace it, they still sell them here. I've checked petstore after petstore and this is the best value for what you get.

As other reviewers described, this tunnel is only about 4' long (looks as pictured, though). However, after having it, I cannot imagine how a 13' tunnel would possibly fit in our home. The size of this tunnel is perfect for our cat to play in, and to be honest it is probably his favorite toy. Definitely recommend.

While my cats love the tube, I was disappointed to find that I paid for a 13 foot tube and got a 4 1/2 foot tube. The product description is wrong. So if your expecting the size advertised...forget it...otherwise, its well made and worth the 10 bucks I paid for it. atleast the color shown is correct...

This cat tunnel is not wide enough....length is ok and neat window in it. It is ok for kittens...but not larger cats that have trouble going through it. It makes a crinkle sound inside. I will give it to the Human Society for this cats to use.
