KONG Ballistic Boomerang, Dog Toy, Large (Colors Vary)

Henry the Terrier is a POWER chewer so it was with some reservation I ordered this toy for him. He was SO excited to receive this toy and pranced around with it for 10 minutes or so, waving it wildly. We had a wonderful game of fetch and then it was game on to see how quickly the squeekers could be surgically extracted. Less than 1 hour later, Henry had ripped apart one of the arms of this toy and was happily chewing up the plastic squeek bladder. He also appreciated the black edging on this toy and we had to extract a soggy wad from his mouth to avoid him swallowing it.

I would rate this toy higher if it was used for completely supervised play and was used for fetch only (and then put away). DO NOT leave a chewer unattended with this toy!!!!

We have a pit bull and he really likes the Kong line of products, he is a furocious (get it) chewer and will chew anything in his path. He now has a basket full of goodies to chew and this is one of his favorites.

If your dog isn't an avid chewer, this may be the toy for you. Our dog loves to tear apart her toys, and she had this one pulled apart within a week or so. RIP Ballistic Boomerang.

This one was also destroyed within 72 hours. It was my first Kong purchase and I don't think I'll get anything from them again. My dog tore right through it and the plastic "squeakers" were small enough and easy enough for him to pull out that it could've been a choking hazard.
