Petstages Mini ORKA Ring with Rope Blue Dog Chewing Toy

I bought my 12 weeks old puppy a Mini ORKA Ring with Rope and he took pieces of the edge in minutes and eat them . Why is this toy so unsafe? He is a small breed with tinny teeth. If he could do this I cannot imagine what a big dog would do to this toy. I'm very disappointed. A toy meant for puppies should be safer.

Tassle may not be such a smart extra, as pup chews it, she has pulled the threads free from toy, & I do watch her, eat everything, she thinks is good, which usually means everything that's bad.

& her curiousity, always has me concerned, of corse.

They warn you, to watch pup when they play with the toy. But who has the time to watch pup, when she picks out a time to chew on this toy.

Likely when your busy with other things, like school, or work, & you try taking away one of Pups favorite toys,

Do they wail, like my lil girl.

You feel like your a Villian.

So here's the best advice: just slice the tassle off, before giving toy to pup!

Because it is a pup, & better safe, then sorry later.

Pup can't tell what she, or he should have, or do, that's of corse your responcibillity,

Time out, don't give pup that toy, till you are sure, it won't hurt them.

Today it is much harder to tell, we all need to be a mom, & dad picking thru Halloween candy

with descerning eyes, not fluffy bliders, before we buy, or give our pets any toy, for our pets sake, due to the sad fact, that no one cares for your lil fur pup budy, more than you do.

& you don't need to be hounded about it, truthfully,

I know that this toy is supposed to be geared towards smaller breeds, but I bought this for my 7 wk old golden retriever puppy, and he loves it. His jaw and teeth aren't that strong yet, so I really don't have to worry about him chewing it to pieces like the other reviewer's dog did. I supervise him with toys such as these, and will throw any out before it becomes a hazard. I think he likes it so much since the toy is really flat, so it's easy for a puppy to control and hold onto, and he loves ropes, too.

This product must be intended for smaller dogs, my 45lb dog chewed the edges off within minutes. I would not recommend.
