I bought this toy for our friendly medium-sized female black lab, who loves to play and never intentionally destroys anything. We'd tried giving her a cheaper plush toy, which lasted about twenty minutes, but she was so happy and excited about it that we wanted to get her something more durable. This was not it. When I gave it to her, she quickly discovered it had two squeakers and learned to squeak them individually and together, and when my husband or I tried to join her in playing with it, she would take it and run away and lie down on top of it. She ran with it, tossed it, cuddled it, tackled it, and by tte end of two hours she had ripped open the cloth covering and managed to completely destroy one squeaker. Due to the cloth hanging off it and the possibility of her destroying the other squeaker and choking, we had to throw poor elephant away, and now she's moping around the house looking for it. We're very sad.

My dogs loved it, I will say that. On the bad side only lasted a day and made my dog throw up because she chewed the plastic on the inside into pieces that she ended up swallowing. The squeaker is VERY loud too so it can be kinda annoying

I have an English Bulldog and they typically are not able to have really soft or plush toys because they can easily destroy them and possibly access stuffing or small objects. So, I was happy to find these that do not have any stuffing! These are durable enough for my Bulldog and he loves the squeaking he can make. There are two different tones of "squeakers". My Bulldog will play with this on his own or will fetch it, too. I am very happy with this item and would definitely purchase another!

Our collie, Scout, a very vigorous chewer and destroyer of toys, absolutely loves this toy!! It's like his harmonica--he can make a symphony of sounds with it and bark and growel in between. I highly recommend it.

My dog tears up every single squeaker toy I've gotten her....but NOT THESE!!! She squeaks and squeaks and squeaks all over the place. Although she has chewed off the ears, trunk, and legs....it's still going strong. She has a ball with this toy....now if they would only send ear plugs to go along with it....lol
