Multipet Deedle Dude 8-Inch Singing Mouse Plush Dog Toy, Blue

I bought one of these over a year ago while on vacation with my dogs. My Doberman is absolutely obscessed with hers. She is very rough with it, constantly chewing it to make it sing. She has broken only three so far, that's pretty much a record for her as she is immensley strong and carries it everywhere. The poor toy gets almost no down time, so pretty much 24-7 it's being squeezed and/or poked and singing it's little Diddle dee song. I just bought six more, just in case they stop making this version, if Diva lost her favorite "Rat" she would need therapy for decades. I think this is a great toy, and if you have anything less than an 80+ pound Doberman, it would last quite a while. I don't mind letting her have it all the time, and replacing as needed, it is all about the enjoyment for the dog, right?

They play a cute tune but they break in less than an hour. It really is a shame, because my dog really does love them. Oh well! They play a song that comes out of a little plastic box. The problem is, the plastic box has like zero protection, and dogs have teeth!!! Hello!!!! Hello dog toy manufacturer!!!! Dog's have teeth!!!!

Note: I have actually bought 4 of these things, and I have written 4 separate reviews (all 1 star) but I see that Amazon is only posting one. Doesn't seem right since I purchased 4 separate Deedle Dudes and all 4 broke within an hour. Seems to me that I should get 4 votes, and the rating should go down, but be warned. These things do not last! And like another reviewer said, they are also dangerous. When that box inside breaks, there are a lot of sharp metal and plastic pieces. a LOT!!!! Do not let your dog have this toy unattended. The only reason I bought 4 of them was that the little song made my dog so happy. After the 2nd one, I knew that the others would not last, but I didn't care, because my dog is spoiled. That being said, I still can't recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't even recommend it to me. Unfortunately I am just "a fool and her money" with a very spoiled dog!

This toy is so cute,I love the little song,unfortunately my big dog destroyed it after 30 minutes and some sharp piece of plastic came out of the toy. I would not recommend this toy if your dog is a heavy chewer,but it is the perfect toy for a smaller dog

Since the cow seems to be unavailable from any source, we bought her a mouse as a replacement.
