Kittywalk T-Connect Unit

I had the kittywalk outside and the sun destroyed it within a few months. I bought it for my 2 cats so they could spend some time outside but it's definitely not weather proof. They should change the material so it lasts longer than a few months after all I spent $250 on the whole thing. Not worth it!

I bought this along with the Kittywalk Town-&-Country Pet Enclosure two years ago. While the larger enclosure has held up quite will despite being in the sun outside on my deck year round (in Georgia), the T-connect portion seems to have been made with a lower quality cord and netting. The cord is now disintegrating such that the netting is coming loose from the frame. The netting on the T-connect has also faded much more rapidly in the sun than the netting on the larger enclosure. Both portions have small holes now where a squirrel or something chewed a hole to get out. Don't ask me how they got in! Fortunately the manufacturer included extra cord and a little extra netting, so I plan to make some repairs reconnecting the webbing to the frame.

Overall, I can't be more thankful to Kittywalk for creating a safe way for my indoor cats to experience the outdoors. Both of my cats LOVE their time outside and don't try to escape (even through the chewed holes). One of my cats even requests/insists to go out by pawing at the back door. My only wish is that the connector were as well made as the Town and Country enclosure.
