DogTravel Bed

DogTravel BedI bought this for my german shepherd/stafford terrier mix, to put in her crate. This girl is a chewer! She may be only 60 lbs. but she goes through durabones, nylabones, you name it, anything that is supposed to last with a hard chewing dog, she can destroy. And yet, she seems to have no interest in chewing this bed. I have to other bed-chewers that I am going to experiment with now. One is a nervous hound mix and the other's a Rottie and they both can't keep a mat in their crates. The Rottie has a cot, but I know she likes pillows she just can't be left alone with them! So I will report back later on how this goes. I'm hoping the silky nylon-like fabric is not appealing to the teeth, which is why the first dog won't bother it. Even if the experiment fails, this bed is really nice. Easy to wash and dry it doesn't bunch up like some mats do. Not overly cushy, but just enough to be cozy. First dog definitely gives it four paws up!

Bought this for travel but the dogs want it all the time, so now it is in the kennel, even the cats like it. Had one episode when one of the dogs became ill and the bed repelled any moisture/stuff and bed went into the wash and out like new. Did great in the dryer. Small enough to use in back of SUV but large enough for home and everyday use. I have a 45 lb springer and a 30 lb mixed breed and they love the bed.
