I think we enjoyed them more than the cats. Hard plastic makes a lot of noise on a hardwood floors. For rolling, not bouncing & throwing or they'll break. The 2 halves of the ball unsnap apart to replace the coin cells. Find a place that sell a pack of the cells cheap if you use the ball a lot.

Haven't seen the ball in months. I think the cats knocked it behind the refrigerator when we had the light turned off on it.

I have a 8 month old kitten and a 13 yr old cat. Both of them love this. It rolls really good on floors. Do not attempt to throw it as it will break. It is a good roll ball. In fact, I am going to buy a few for my other friends cats for Christmas.

I like this toy, but the cats don't care for it. It is heavy for a ball, so I have never seen them bat it around on their own. They chase it if i roll it, but they do that with any ball. They do not react to the fact that it lights up. Wouldn't recommend unless you know your cat goes for this sort of thing.
