My cat loves this bird sooo much. He carries it off to bed with him. Kills it in the living room, and takes it up onto the highest perch of his kitty condo licking it. After only four weeks of intense play, lovin and carrying it everywhere and it was done for. Petco no longer carries it and I looked online for hours until I finally found it here on Amazon. I spoil my two cats with toys frequently. The one that turns his nose up at most toys, is absolutely in love with this bird. Enough that I am buying several more to store in the closet as they wear out.

When we took in a stray kitty a year and a half ago, he was used to hunting for his food, so i went to the toy store to get him some bigger toys, than the ones I had for my other cat. I saw this KONG Fuzzy Bird Cat Toy and knew he would love it. He loved carrying it around or climbing up our Cat tree and throwing it off the top, only to chase after it. It wasn't long before he tore a hole in it and the rattle fell out though. He didn't seem to mind and it was still has favorite toy. Now a year and a half later the bird has definitely seen better days but I couldn't find a replacement in any pet stores. I happened to see it on Amazon while browsing for something else and knew I had to buy it. You don't get to pick the color but I doubt a cat would care! He is back to flinging this bird around and loves when we throw it so he can go fetch it!

I own four or five of these things (in differing states of being destroyed by my cat)and I am ordering more now. My cat LOVES to carry these around in her mouth and meow as if she's actually caught something! She has fun trying to pull off the furry "feathers". A lot of times she places the bird in her food bowl as if it were going to be eaten, I guess? Haha. These toys do eventually get destroyed and the stuffing ends up around the house...but a quick vacuum and everything is better. I think that's a small price to pay for how much fun my cat has with these!
