My cats play with this a lot, and it makes for cute pictures with a kitty hugging dynamite! I don't know if it's the catnip or the shape, but they seem to love it. My cats hug it and roll on their backs kicking with their hind legs. I'm always excited when I find a toy that they like since most of the time when I bring a new toy in, they hardly notice!

One cat is a big, strong, rescued tom who uses the stick as a security blanket and sleeps with his head on it or holds it between his paws (see pic. I uploaded of black and white cat sleeping with his Dynamite stick). The other is an (also rescued) older female who loves to bite it, kick it and otherwise abuse the stick. Even with all of the abuse she has inflicted, the stick has held up perfectly (other than bite puncture marks). I've bought other catnip toys that she chewed through in 10 minutes. This Dynamite stick is the best catnip toy I've ever bought. I just ordered two more so there will always be a couple around.
