It is pathetically small! The scratch board is made of cheap paper board. I put cat nips on it so that my cat would scratch, but every time he tried to do so, the scratch board would knock off to the ground, since it's so small and light that is really unstable. Do NOT waste your money on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cats love this, especially when I rub fresh cut catnip and rub it into the surface. It makes a little mess of cardboard pieces, but they all do. This is better than the flat scratchers because it has a short tunnel for them to lay their upper body in. Recommend.
