Adoorable makes several toys like this -a yellow bird, a grey mouse, a brown mouse and something else -and my cats love all of them. But the dangly octopus legs make this toy my cats' absolute favorite.
One note of caution -toys like this that dangle on bungy strings should ONLY be used under human supervision. One time in the three years I've had cats play with this toy, one of my cats got the bungy cord wrapped around his leg and he panicked and ran off through his cat tree and got the string too tight around his leg. If I hadn't been there, he could have been seriously hurt.
BUT -supervised play with these toys -and lets face it, those of us who love our cats enough to play with them and buy them lots of toys generally like to be with them when they play -can be a LOT of fun for cats and people. My cats, who eventually chew the toy off the string, still carry the toy octopus around with them for months and just bat it around.
I can't say enough good things about this toy.

I am about to leave a negative feedback for all of the stringy toys out there! It is very dangerous! My kitten almost got choked because the string got tangled around his neck! If I wasn't home, he would've choked for sure! Either watch closely when cat is playing or cut the string off ( I threw the string part right there and then) the kitty will play with the toy itself! Because it is a string it will tighten itself and the more kitten is struggling to get out the more pressure it is placing on a part that is tangled! Please spare your kitty!Read Best Reviews of Ethical A-Door-Able Octopus with Rattle Cat Toy Here
My two siamese cats LOVED this which is saying a lot because they're old and don't play as much as a kitten would. Would buy again came in a timely fashion, undamaged. Good stuff!Want Ethical A-Door-Able Octopus with Rattle Cat Toy Discount?
My cat really enjoys this toy. I'm surprised it stays attached to the door jams as well as it does, but it has never come off in all the times my cat has played with it.
