I have two pet rats and this is the only house they like. Its awesome! Its safe for them to chew on and its pretty roomy for them. The price is great too. I used to get them at my local pet store but for some reason they stopped carrying them. I am very happy I found them on amazon.

I am pretty unhappy with this item! It started falling apart almost immediately and it's just hay covering cardboard. Horrible quality!

The hay house is big and good for pets to chew. I'm happy with it. The only con might be that it is a bit crumbly.

I have had MANY houses/hideaways for my pet Syrian hamster (plastic, wood, natural, etc.) and this one is the WORST so far. As soon as I took it out of the packaging it started to fall apart and get all over EVERYTHING. Whenever you touch it parts of the hay fall off creating quite a mess. Also, the natural "hay" layer is very thin. Just from initially moving it into her cage I could already see the "cellulose" inner-layer (which really is just cardboard.) Yes it is only approximately $2.00...but that's really ALL that it's worth! My advice is to invest in a quality house/hideaway that will last and look more attractive in your pet's home.
