Very, very strong ball for medium to large size dog small German shepherd size and bigger. Our dog cannot live without this ball, so have had to buy replacement for when it eventually falls apart. She has played with it and chewed it for at least 2 years now still in reasonable order would definitely buy again Highly recommended. purchaser from the U.K.

My dog loves this ball. He had one before, but the inner ball popped out. We thought maybe there was a crack in the ball. After the ball popped out the ball started to come apart. We bought a second one and within one week he popped the ball out again. We examined the ball and there were no cracks and we couldn't find out how he got the ball out. A couple of weeks later the ball began to crack and it is cracking at the hole the ball was in and in the paw symbols. I just orderded two more because he loves this ball. I wish it would last longer.

I purchased the large size ball-in-ball. Inside the red ball is a blue 'pimpled' ball with a bell inside of it. When this toy is correctly sized for your dog sized according to the outer ball's size of course this inner ball is the perfect choking size for your dog.

My dog managed to get this inner blue ball out the side holes of the red ball (in pic, you can see part of this hole on the top side of the ball in its package) -without actually damaging the red ball in any way (no tears, etc). It doesn't look like it's possible, but trust me it is!!

I found him choking to death in the backyard, on what I didn't know. As he started to pass out and fell to the ground, we managed to get a hand down his throat and pull out.... the blue pimpled bell ball. Thank goodness I noticed him when I did. I was within a minute of losing my dog. Trust me, it happened so quickly that even though I was watching him, if I had simply taken a quick trip to the bathroom for those 2 minutes he'd be dead now.

I'd advise anyone with a playful dog who's a strong chewer to get another toy for your dog. Kongs are great toys!! There's also lots of other companies who make rugged dog toys that your pet won't kill itself with. Please don't find yourself like I did, thinking your dog is going to die right in front of you as he collapses into your arms.

If you have a blind or going blind dog, this is the toy for him/her. Our dog, Zippy, a wonderful yellow lab, loves his ball. He knows its sound and its smell and takes it everywhere with him. The only time he leaves it is when he drops it in the lake and can't find it (even after dunking his head under and searching the bottom!)

I heartily recommend it!
