I needed a new sisal scratching post. The old one was falling apart. This one was like the old one, but this one had a small pouch in it to put catnip. Cat uses it, that's what matters.

We're cat-sitting for a friend, and there was an issue with the cat stretch-scratching at the side ouf our couch. Just got this and put it on a convenient doorknob. Cats immediately attacked, one on each side. Not slowing down, scratching, rubbing, batting . . . new favorite toy, much to the relief of my poor abused couch and wooden chairs! Don't think the feathers will last long, but not a concern as I bought it for the scratchpad and dangling catnip toy, not the feathers.
