Neko Flies - Kragonfly - Interchangeable Toy - Attachment Only

My very picky kitty who typically plays with her toys for about 30 seconds before getting bored absolutely loves this neko flies product! I bought it for her at a local pet store yesterday and we had two 10-15 minute sessions of her chasing it around the house last night. Yes, it does require some work on the owners part but it is totally worth it! She definitely thinks it is a real bug and was going crazy trying to catch it. If your kitty needs some exercise (or you need your kitty to get some exercise so you can get some sleep!) this is the toy to get.

Update: Six weeks later, my kitty still loves this neko fly but it is not holding up too well. She was able to pull the fly off from the small piece of plastic attaching it to the string and I've had to tie it back on multiple times. She also chewed off one wing (which I couldn't reattach), and has chewed through the clear plastic lower part of the body. I think it's still worth it though for the amount of fun she has had.

The kragonfly is the favorite flying object of the series so far. They go crazy when I even just get close to the drawer where I keep them :)

I have two tubby cats who are stuck indoors for the winter. They're happy, but tubby. The trick is finding fun toys that will get them moving. Well, this one does just that!!! Miko has played so hard chasing after this dragonfly toy. Given that she never exercises, I was worried about how much she chased this toy dragonfly around. In our first session she played rigorously for about 1/2 hour. I thought she would be too tired or sore to continue. I started to put it away, but before I could, Miko was on my lap begging for more. I gave in and played with her again for about 20 minutes. The next day I thought she'd be too sore to play again, but I got it out again to see what her reaction would be. Without any hesitation, she was again running and jumping and chasing after her dragonfly. It is now a regular part of our evening play time together.

My other cat, Zorro, has to be introduced to new things slowly. He's quite old and very reticent. Even so, he likes to sit on my lap and paw it and lick it and bite at it when I dangle it over his head.

I agree with other reviewers that it is somewhat "heavy" and therefore it doesn't fly as easily as perhaps the DaBird feather toys. Don't let this deter you from buying this toy. It will provide you with a great bonding experience with your cat(s)!!! It is well worth the money I paid. Try it. Your cat will love you for it!!!

We first bought the brand Neko flies at a pet store in our city. My cats loved it so I went online to see if it had other attachment. Luckily, I found the brand on amazon and I bought this specific attachment.

My cats went crazy for it! Every time I would play with them, they would try to catch it and take off with it. They loved chewing on the wings like it was a real bug. (I forgot to mention how much my cats love eating bugs)

I would have to say that this is probably their favorite toy and they've played with da bird, lasers, remote control mouse, and many others.

Every time I bring it out, I have to make sure to clear an area because they never pay attention to who or what they fall on.

It is definitely a hit with our 5 cats :)
