Sparkey is the captain of this ship! He and his wench, Stella, happily curl themselves up in this adorable hammock all day long. The inside is velvety soft and dark so they get very restful naps. I didn't use the plastic insert for the bottom because they use the ship hanging in their cage. So far, everything seems study, the clips work, the straps are adjustable, and the flag is an adorable detail! This pirate ship hammock is great!

The free t-shirt is funny, but didn't stay on for even a couple seconds. It's good to find out now they won't keep clothes on so I won't bother buying any funny halloween costumes in the future.

I ended up buying a second one just a month later because my ferts love it so much, I have to have swap them out for cleaning. I've tried hammocks, sleep sacks and beds, but they'll only use them if there's not a pirate ship available. It offers a privacy they can't get with the others.

It was too cute and I had to get it. My little ferret is almost always sleeping in here, despite the numerous other sleep sacks, hammocks, bedding, etc., he has. It comes with a cute little pirate shirt too; however it was pretty tight on my little guy, and he's not even full grown yet. I still give 5 stars because I was buying the ship for the ship, not the shirt :)

It hangs perfect in the cage and has 5 holes for him to get in and out of. It's adorable to see him "sailing away" to dreamland!

My rats found great joy in tearing this to scraps and sleeping in the ruined ship hull. It also came with a sweet flag.

My 3 rats choose this pirate ship as their destination 9 times out of 10 when they want to take a nap. It's great because it gives them the privacy of an igloo and the added fun of a hanging, hammock-style toy. Not only do they sleep in it all the time, but they drag pieces of bedding inside of it and hide treats in it for later. Although the flag got chewed up eventually, I get to feel cool when I tell people my rats spend their days sailing in their very own pirate ship!

I love that this is washable; my only qualm is the foam filling. A few weeks after purchase my rats had chewed a few holes in the pirate ship lining and it hasn't stopped spewing out little bits of foam since. (I don't know how much ferrets are known to chew, so this may not be an issue for ferret owners.) Even so, my rats love this item enough that I would definitely buy again.
