We wish we had discovered this curved cat scratcher sooner. We have 2 cats that have destroyed a couch and chair with their clawing. I've tried all sorts of crazy scratching posts, sticky tape, keeping their nails clipped, water spray, water w/ vinegar spray nothing worked. As soon as we got this scratcher, the sharpening stopped on all the furniture.The cats like to sit on it like it is their chair or couch. They LOVE it. They claw and claw as happy as can be. Now I can get my furniture reupholstered without worrying that the pieces will get ruined again. I'm ordering a bunch more and placing them around the house. They aren't as big as some of the other things I've bought in the past.
The only drawback is that you do end up with little pieces of paper all over the floor (it's cardboard after all). However, this is a small price to pay for untouched furniture and happy cats.

My cat, Sassy, has such a great time with this scratcher!
