I got this as a replacement bed for my cat as she gets cold easily and likes burrowing under my blankets. This worked like a charm. She took to it right away and loves it! One thing is that it's not that roomy. My cat is a small size cat, so it works for her, but it's not appropriate for people with bigger cats. They may not fit inside that well.

My 6 month old kitten loves this cube, but my 3 year old cat pretty much ignores it, which came as a surprise because he generally likes to hide inside bags, boxes, etc. He is 12 lbs and fits inside it easily, but he may not go inside because the kitten claimed it as his territory. The entrance hole is plenty large enough for an adult cat to fit through. I put the cubbyhole on an empty level on my cat tree, and my kitten loves to sleep in it. I did take the dangling toy off, because he didn't seem too interested in it. The cubbyhole is pretty sturdy, so the top doesn't cave in when the kitten races up and down the cat tree. The color is not quite burgundy, but slightly more pinkish. I got it on sale ($25) because of the color, however, so I think it was a great deal. I just bought the same cube product in a local pet store, but with only one entrance hole. My older cat has expressed some interest in it, but I think the kitten will also claim it as his own... I would recommend this product for anyone who has a cat who likes to sleep in snug places.
