I worried that my Boston Terrier wouldn't be able to eat his kibbles because he is a flat faced dog but he gets his tongue around the raised parts of the bowl and actually chews his kibbles. This method has really slowed down his eating and he doesn't have to throw any of his food up after eating it in 2 seconds like before.The only negative is that the bowl bleeds red when I wash it.
