I got a new kitten to join my two older cats. This tree is primarily for her. My heaviest cat finds it too unstable for him (he is 12 years old and weighs about 14 pounds). My two female cats love it. One is four months and the other is almost seven years. The little one sleeps in the top and climbs and scratches all over it. The older one climbs it as a route to higher locations in the room. It was fairly easy to put together, but following the directions helps tremendously. It showed up very quickly and the seller provided tracking information. I would definitely buy from them again.

The lower levels are stable enough for my heavier cat, but the top one sways some when he gets up there, so he doesn't get up there anymore.

I bought this cat tree and assembled it, it was rather unstable but it was as together as it could get... the very next day the top teer broke off completely. Not only is the company highly improfessional but their response to this mishap was that i assembled it and therefor it was a used product and they do not do any refunds on used products. I tried to explain that it was not even in my house for 24 hours but they were less than helpful. Once contact with amazon was made they attempted to make contact but were more concerned about removal of rightful negative feedback on their product than fixing the situation. Not only is this product not as stable as it looks in the picture but the company is very difficult to deal with and are not concerned about standing behind their products.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the kitty condo shakes a lot. It's not steady. We tried to tight it down and it still moves a lot when the cats are playing on the condo. Eventually the cats got used to it. other than that, my cat enjoyed the kitty condo.

We thought what a great idea and purchased it for our two kittens. I came home one day and found the little male kitten w/the hammock hook stuck in his mouth and the sissel wrapped around his neck and body. He was totally stuck to the lower sissel post. After dislodging the hook and cutting him out of the sissel, he fell to the floor and thought for sure he had a broken jaw so we made an emergency trip to the vet. The kittens loved the "tree" but the hammock portion just isn't safe. Needless to say, we cut the hammock off removed all remnants of it, hooks, etc., and they now play on it safely. Too expensive though to have to make modifications and if I'd gotten home later from work don't know what would have happened.

I would have given this condo 5 stars because of the price, quality, and design. However, I have to say that the middle/top perches are very wobbly, (yes, all the screws are tightened properly, made sure of that)especially when my cat first leaps onto it, and she's only about 7 lbs. The top perch needs another post that attaches to the middle perch. I think that would give it much more stability. But my kitties LOVE it, I rubbed catnip all over the scratching posts and they just went crazy, playing for hours on end. Can't beat the price, design & quality compared to Petco or Petsmart.
