Just flew for the first time using this bag. Able to place under a seat requiring smaller more confining bag because of the flexibility. Multiple areas to provide air and visibility. Side zipper held treats, leash etc. very sturdy and secure.

We don't live on any major flight routes, so the first leg of any trip is on a commuter sized plane. We needed a carrier that could accommodate the smaller seats, but then not be restrictive on the bigger planes. We love this carrier! We have a 10 # chihuahua. I wouldn't say the carrier is "roomy", but gives him enough room to be comfy. The top is truly flexible so it will adjust to seat heights and it's well constructed. I recommend it!
