I have three cats who have a shoebox full of toys. This is one they love. I think part of the joy for them is that someone has to flick it, so they get to interact with their humans. When I play with one, I soon have three vying for it. I actually work with two at a time! And kids love these things. Every time a young one comes over, this is a safe toy for them to interact with the cats. My nieces and cousin's kids go straight for this every time they come to visit. The cats get riled up, but always attack the feather and never hurt a child. When the kids leave, the cats pass out! It's a simple idea but I highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying, my cats love this toy. Don't get me wrong, it's great. We have a lot of fun running around with it. The only problem is that my cats hate all the refill options.

When you first buy this product, it comes with a pink, fuzzy, tail-like thing. My cats LOVE that. Unfortunately, they have since destroyed it and carry it's remains around my house. I attempted to go get another strange, pink, fuzzy thing but learned they do not sell it as an additional refill. I have tried the other refills, but my cats hate them.

I love this toy. My cat's love this toy. But I just wished I wouldn't have to buy a whole new fishing pole just to get the right end for them.

The pole is not as long as it seems pictured in the ad. The feather is attached into a cone with a bell attached. It is attached to the pole with a snap and you are able to change out when the feather becomes worn. This feathered toy is one of my kittens favorites. He mouths it and carries it around as prey throughout the house..and the other kitten runs behind trying to catch the handle. They have lots of fun with this toy!
