Jeep Pet Carrier, 16.5 x 9.5 x 9.5

I love the look and brand of this carrier, and have bought 2 of them. After a short while, the metal support rods near the top of the carrier began poking through the vinyl covering, making a hazard for our pet. I bought another one and the same thing happened. I wish it had better construction in this spot because it was otherwise great. This problem however makes the carriers useless after just a few months.

I bought two of these for my small dogs to fly with us on Alaska Airlines. We have a Chihuahua and a Yorkie/Pom mix. They fit wonderfully in these and definitely had plenty of room to stand, turn, and lie down. The inside is soft so they were very comfortable during our flight. We will be flying with these again soon, and I know that the dogs will be okay with us on the plane. Definitely the best purchase we made toward traveling with the dogs!

My 5lb Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix fit perfectly in here. She flew from Louisiana to San Diego and back in it. While she doesn't like being in there because she's spoiled, it perfectly fit the need. (My 13lb cat also loves to cram herself in there and sleep, and it works well to transport her to the vet.)

The quality was wonderful but our pet was on the high end of the weight limit and it just did not work for him. We already have this bag in a bigger size and love it but we have worn it out. We unfortunately had to return this item because it was too small for our pet. Would recommend the product but they may want to change their weight limits in the ad. I did make an assumption that it would be just like ours because of the picture. Just didn't realize it would be too small.

I've owned a Jeep for years, so when I was looking for a carrier to bring my puppy home in on the plane and saw a Jeep brand one that met the airline specs of less than 11" high (don't be fooled by other bags claiming to meet these guidelines! do your research), I just had to get it! I expected a nice-looking bag, but this far exceeds my expectations. The materials are very sturdy and the mesh is a rubber-like material as well. It comes with a sherpa-style black liner on the bottom, but i'll probably get a liner just in case the puppy has an accident. The side 'window' has a cover for puppy privacy (and so they won't be looking at other people's feet on the plane).

Overall, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat!
