Hartz Chirp n Chase Cat Toy (3-pack)

Hartz Chirp n Chase Cat ToyWe have two cats, one who will only play with toy mice, the other with toy birds and feathers. The mouse-lover isn't picky: big, small, plush, furry -as long as it looks like a rodent, he's happy. The birdlover, however, seems to have very narrow parameters, but what exactly turns him on to a particular bird is beyond us. Since we first gave him one of these Hartz bird toys, it no longer matters; this is the only toy he now cares about. Maybe it's the realistic sound (warning: it's LOUD, but fortunately it has to hit the floor quite hard to go off), or the size, or the feathered tail. But honestly, who cares? All I know is he loves it. If he can't find it, he cries. I ordered a half dozen so I can replace the one he's now got when he finally wears it out. It's nicely made, though, and the one with which he now plays is holding up despite the abuse it takes. Of course, what one cat loves another won't even look at -my own two cats' toy choices are proof of that -but if your feline has a fondness for feathered toys, I don't think you'll go wrong with the Chirp and Chase toy.
