Well, I bought this despite the reviews that only smaller cats would enjoy it. I loved the cost and the look of it. Unfortunately, my cat did not. I put toys on it, bathed it in catnip, put it in front of her favorite window, etc. It's been several months and she still hasn't touched it. I had to invest in a new one that is simply a tall post where she can fully extend to scratch. I would only recommend this product to someone with brand new kittens that are very playful.
So it's easy to assemble and my kitty was playing with the hanged toy. I go away for a moment and I come back to see the toy missing. It wasn't even 2 minutes since I was gone. It's cute and takes up little space but you will have to spend a little time repairing damages.
