Purrr!-Muda Triangle 3 Pack: Yeowww! 100% Organic Catnip Purrr!-Muda Triangle Toys

My 7-month-old kitten Oliver and I were recently out shopping (yes, I take him with me sometimes) and I spotted this Yeowww! catnip triangle. It was clear that it was a hit with Oliver, so I bought it for him and took it home.

I have several of Yeowww!'s catnip toys. Here is what makes this one a standout.

1. It is a good size for both kittens and cats to play with. Some Yeowww! toys are so big, or so overstuffed, that they are almost too big for your cat to play with. This one is just right.

2. The triangle shape is perfect for cats who like to roll on their sides and hold it with their front feet while kicking it with their back feet. Oliver does exactly that.

Size: 4 inches x 4 inches x 4 inches. Width: 1 1/8 inches at the center, tapering outward to 1/2 inch or a little less at the end, so a very nice shape for play.

3. It is lightweight enough to be batted around if you have wooden or tile flooring. I have even seen Oliver carrying it. It depends on the activity level of your cat.

Serena, my 12-year-old Domestic Shorthair, prefers to go crazy with it on the sofa.

4. The catnip scent is extremely strong strong enough for me to smell when it is several feet away. It will die down a bit after you have had it awhile, but these toys will hold their scent longer than many catnip toys.

Tip: for added fun for your cat, take the toy with both hands and rub it together to crush up the catnip leaves, which will make the catnip scent even stronger, before giving it to your cat to play with. You can also store your Yeowww! Purrr!-Muda Triangle in a plastic bag between play sessions (out of reach of your cat) to enhance the scent of the catnip. Or you can leave it out for your cat to find on his own. I have a basket of toys that my cats pick through to find their favorites.

5. This three-pack is a great idea. I have three cats, and two of them love catnip. I buy favorite toys in multiples -smaller and frequently lost toys I often buy as many as 10 of. So this three-pack is a great value, especially in a multi-cat household if you have a lot of catnip lovers.
