The mouse goes around, but the cat can't touch it or get to it so they gave it no attention at all. I wonder if they test these things with cats, before they sell them.

My cats do investigate. However, the motor is very noisy! I wish it was also had a motion detector option. After a few minutes the cats wonder away from the toy. I usually turn it off and a few minutes later turn it back on -they come running.

The cat toy arrived before the expected delivery date, and was in good condition. All I had to do was unpack it and put in the 3 AA batteries. I bought this for a very energetic kitten who is driving me and the older cats crazy. He likes the toy, and will watch it and play with it but only for a short time before he moves on to other things. Apparently he has a very short attention span and gets bored easily. I only allow the kitten to play with this toy when I am in the room. I fear he may get hurt by the toy if he is by himself: get a paw tangled in the plastic web or turn the toy over and cause it to overheat. I might buy this toy again, and I would recommend it to other cat owners. But I caution you to allow your cat to use it only if you are home, and in the room with the cat and toy.

Battery power and what a great play thing for my cat. It keeps her attention for a while.

She chases and waits and when I turn it off she waits for me to turn it back on. Super toy.

This has potential but it needed more R&D. The motor is very noisy & neither of my cats will play with it while the unit is running. They will bat at the ball & chew on the wand when it is turned off though.
