I saw these in the grocery store a few months ago and bought them because they are made in the USA and most pet toys are made in China (yuck!). All four of my cats love them, even my very picky 8yr old (as a matter of fact, he just ran by me with one in his mouth!). I am very happy they can be bought through Amazon in a bulk pack. I highly recommend this cat toy.
I bought these to occupy my 1 year old male cat. He loves many other toys and really enjoys catnip. When I placed one of these on the floor for him, he smelled it and walked away. I have no doubt that this does not smell of catnip at all or he would have attacked it. I then tried to get him to play with it, with me on the floor by tossing it around. Again he was disinterested. I've tried several times and this toy scored a zero with my active cat. He would rather play with a balled up piece of paper than this toy.
