Multipet 2-Faced Crinkle/Plush Dog Toys

I purchased this about a week ago along with a few other toys for my Bichon Frise. He loves to play with toys, but many of them are too heavy, hard, large, etc. I saw these 2-faced toys on Amazon, and they looked soft, and I hoped it would be a good match.

After choosing from all of the cute animals they offer, I chose the cow and pig. Be sure to read the description, as the picture could be a bit misleading at first. This item is ONE toy. One side is a pig, and when you flip it over, the other side is a cow.

My dog loves this toy. As soon as I gave it to him, he started carrying it around and enjoying the "newspaper scrunching" sound it makes when you press on it. It's very soft, almost like an infant toy. It's a nice size, (bigger than my hand), so my pup gets to feel big and tough as he totes it around the house. The only con, as with all plush toys, it can get a bit "slobbery" after an extended session of tug of war or fetch. Haven't thrown it in the washer yet, but it looks like it will stand up.

Update 2/14/13. After three years of pretty consistent love from my Bichon, our cow/pig did succumb to a detached head and loss of stuffing. Still five stars from me. That's a mighty long time for a plush dog toy to last I think.

Even though my cocker spaniel has never hunted further than her food dish, she loves anything that crinkles such as the sound of paper. Apparently this is related to an instinct to chew on feathers! This toy crinkles and squeaks, and is plush so that if I throw it and she catches it with her face rather than her mouth, no harm done. Also good to know is that this is not two toys, but two sides of the same toy.

My maltipoo Loves this toy! Even though she only weighs 5 pounds, she can shred many toys, and pull out the stuffing! This is something that intrigues her, she likes to pounce and hear the crinkle, and can pick it up and tackle it! But, unlike many others, this toy has held together.
