Majestic Pet-Majestic Cat Tree Jungle Gym

I purchase this item through Amazon.com from their seller Wayfair, who in turn ordered it from the manufacturer, Majestic Pet Products. Majestic Pet Products cheapened the product by using carpeting other than what is shown on the page.

Therefore, the platforms were not the same "designer" beige carpet that is shown on the page. Instead it's brown and white SHAG carpet very similiar to what is shown on the bottom of the gym.

That was bad enough, but then little "v-shaped" pieces, of the shag, began falling off as I took just one platform out of the box. Imagine how quickly it would be destroyed by a cat simply jumping from platform to platform.

So I returned it. But, not after having to go through a month-long hassle with Wayfair, who expected me to pay for return shipping and was not going to reimburse me for the "FREE" shipping cost that was actually added into the price of the item, which at that time was selling for $204.99.

Thankfully Amazon A-Z guarantee stepped in and I was sent a return shipping label and received full credit.

In summary: Between the manufacturer and the seller the purchase was a total disappointment.

Upon reading some of the reviews it's apparent that several are not in reference to this particular Jungle Gym.

I purchased this product for 2 reasons: 1) My cat will only scratch on carpet (no rope, wood, etc) and this tree is 100% carpet and 2)I really liked the look of it in the picture.

I have been very pleased with this product. My cat absolutely loves this tree. The carpet is thick and a better quality than you find in the cat furniture you purchase at a pet store. My cat loves to lay in the U shapes and roll around. She utilizes all 3 levels which I didn't think she would. The toys are properly attached to the tree and not dangerous at all. My cat plays with them all the time. I personally love the "look" of the tree. It fits right in with my personal decor. My only complaint is price---but I feel that way about all cat furniture in general. I don't understand why it costs so much!

I noticed the last review stated the tree was not secure. I'm wondering if the tree I got fixed this problem because I noticed I had 2 sets of instructions in my box that had one difference. One set of instructions showed 3 stabilizing screws (which came with my tree) and the other set of instructions did not have these screws. Without those 3 screws, the tree was extremely unstable.

Yes--I could recommend this product!

This product is large enough to accomodate large cats, but it's very wobbly/flimsy. I had to shore it up with wood, and change the configuration, in order to make it stable. Not a well engineered piece.

Perfect height. My cats love this tree. I (and my cats) just wish it was all carpet and no sisal. My cats don't like sisal.

The looks & design of the Majestic Pet 45 inch Kitty Cat Jungle Gym are lovely. Unfortunately, it is not functional. It is so wobbly it could pose a danger to my cats. We tightened the screws as far as they would go, but the higher level continued to wobble. I have never seen a cat tree this wobbly. My smaller cat tried to jump from the lower level to the higher level, but as she hit the higher level it moved backward causing my cat to lose her balance and fall. No thank you, I do not care to have my cats injured because of such a poorly constructed cat tree. I am returning it.
