Hugs Pet Products Whack-A-Mouse Cat Toy

Hugs Pet Products Whack-A-Mouse Cat ToyReally delighted with this one. Though I don't buy many cat toys, this game is extremely well built and appeals to a cat's instinct to hunt for hiding prey. The box is made of very sturdy press-board (wood) and the fabric is a rugged synthetic. The mouse is attached in such a way that it won't come off. Really refreshing to see something built CORRECTLY these days. Use the stick to pop the mouse up in various areas and your cat will grab or bite at it. My Sphynx (hairless) is disabled so running after toys is physically taxing for her. This is the perfect solution as she can sit comfortably and play on the couch. Would be ideal for any older or disabled cat that needs mental and physical stimulation, but can't run after a lazer or feather stick. Though my cat won't bother with a normal stuffed mouse toy, the hiding action and movement of this toy drives her crazy. The box will last forever but, as mentioned before, it looks possible that if this is left with a bored cat that likes to chew, they might go after the fabric. However, they look like they'd be easy to replace for anyone with even the slightest DIY inkling.

Highly recommended for all cats to keep their bodies and minds exercised and healthy.

Gift for a cat-loving friend who has been very amused with the creative ways his cats have found to play with it!

We've had Whack a Mouse two days and it is just great. My really laid back, "big boned" Ragdoll will play for minutes and minutes and even without me. It's the most exercise he's had since he figured out the red dot. More than worth the price. Well made and two sided. Great toy!

Cat really likes this toy...keeps her interest she's about 8 years old. I definitely think it's worth the money and it seems to be well made. I would recommend to anyone.

My younger cats really like this, but my older ones (3 years old and up) are totally uninterested. The box is well built and sturdy, as is the mouse wand, but the cats will chew on the fabric hole openings if you're not careful. Don't leave it out unattended or you could come back to a mangled looking box. I would only recommend this to people with kittens or highly active and curious cats.
