I bought this two years ago for Pete, my kitty. Not only does he still love it, but this product can also be used for cat toy storage and as a claw clipping timer. When I'm cleaning the house, I always tuck his loose toys, like his Skinneeez Duck Cat Toy in the "Kitty Teaser." It gives Pete extra items to extract. If I notice that he is pulling out his toys with ease, I know a manicure is needed. Even after all this time, the toy looks great; it isn't beaten up or frayed at all!

From the moment the "Zanies" cat 'brainteaser' toy was set on the floor, one cat came bounding over and sniffed the catnip and stuck her paw into a hole. She then, more determinedly, kept trying to catch the ball in the hole. About this time, the other cat came over, sniffed, and stuck his paw into one of the spare holes. Unsuccessful at catching the ball, he wrestled with the Zanies hole-box for a while, then tried again. They both were preoccupied throughout the evening, trying to master the art of 'catching' the balls. Zanies is a 'Hit!' It was delivered, in an oversized box, the day after I ordered it.

There are very few toys that my kitten will play with on her own, but she goes nuts over this toy. She flops all over the place trying to get at the balls inside this toy and she keeps going back for more.

This is rather a small toy but my kitten with the long legs loves stepping in it and trying to fish out the balls. My other kitten with short stubby legs isn't as successful. They both played with it after initially ignoring it so I'll just make this part of the rotation of toys. It is well made and actually attractive. Unlike some toys of the same premise, I cannot see my kittens getting the balls out of this one so that's a plus! UPDATE: one of my kittens actually gnawed through one of the holes to get the balls out. I didn't think that would happen so I guess it's not as well made as I thought it was! It's not ruined but I have put it away so next time I put it out, I hope they play with it again.
