My kitten loved playing with this until she was about 7 weeks old, then she was too big for it. She never used it as a scratching post, it is too short, but loved to play with the cloth balls. The balls came off after about 2 weeks and I had to reattach them. I also didn't like that the base was warped and not flat. It sometimes fell over. So all in all, it kept her busy, but a bent coat hanger with a ball on the end would have worked just as well.

This looks like lots of fun but once the kittens started playing with it, it was nearly imposible to keep it standing up right. The pulled all the fuzzy balls of in two days and I ended up throwing it away. Very disapointed.

I like this toy very much...good quality, lots of movement, would prefer a flat, more stable bottom though.

My cat on the other hand, being older and somewhat lazy, does not play with it. I would recommend it to anyone with a younger, more active cat.
