This item was purchased for a Christmas gift and was shipped along with several other items in one large box. When I opened the box I found the plastic jar of catnip was completely open and empty and there was catnip on everything. I managed to scrape most of it out, but it was very messy. The lid should at least be taped shut before shipping.

it's catnip, it is what it is. However it wasn't sealed very well and came open in the box. big mess. My teen came home from school and saw me gathering up all this stuff. Can anyone guess her first thoughts?

It wasn't even strong when I opened the container. The aroma was dull and the catnip was totally dried out. I bought the banana catnip toy and they love love that one instead. I think that one was $9.99
