Buffy the cat loves these things. Can't get them most places. Was very happy to find them on Amazon. Also glad I was sent a brown one, as the cat's reaction to a pink-tailed toy (such as the one pictured) is as yet unknown.

I have ordered this exact toy before, and the older one had a jingle sound it would make when played with. The one I received this time doesn't make any noise at all. Not disappointed enough to return it, but definitely would not re-order. If your cat likes the feather aspect alone, then great, but my cats need the sound to really enjoy this toy.

Typically we have to spray our cat's toys with catnip to get him even a little interested in the toy. From the moment this toy came out of the bag Rudy, our cat, pounced on it like a little tiger!

He is 4 years old and he has lived with us for two years. I have never seen him this playful with a toy and he doesn't lose interest!!!

Even if he does destroy the toy I'll buy him another. I rather pay money for a toy he plays with rather than all the other toys that he doesn't touch.

This toy captured my kitten's interest. He now carries it with him and comes running when I shake the toy. (It rattles) Yes, after many hours of enthusiastic play, the feather becomes shredded, sometimes it is destroyed. My kitten doesn't seem to mind, a string remains to help him carry the toy. He prefers this toy over many others. That seems like a "purchase this toy" recommendation.
