The green part is squishy with a bell inside, so the cats can hear it coming. There are a lot of feathers attached, and the toy is larger than I had expected.

We bought this cat toy hoping to find something a bit more durable for our two cats. The toy is a little bigger than expected, but the green cage part is a nice durable rubber that the cats can't destroy and like to carry around. Even though the feathers were pulled off within the first hour, the main ball and bell still work well. Overall, the toy is mostly durable and the cats like it.

My kitty doesn't play with it. I think it is made of a material that he finds unappealing. He prefers the lightweight plastic "jingle bell balls". My grandkids play with it, and tickle kitty's nose with the feather -which he doesn't seem to find amusing either. Maybe a younger cat would use it (my kitty is eight years old), but I will not buy another one.
