Elevated Dog Feeder

We bought two of the XL Bergan Elevated Feeders (15"H) and are quite happy with them. We have two relatively large dogs: dogo argentino/lab mix (90lb) and a recent addition to the family a German Gephard mix puppy (74lb). Both are very comfortable eating and drinking from this feeder. It's tall enough, catches some of the water spillage, super easy to clean, easy to take bowls in and out. I also like the fact that bowls are large enough (unlike so many other feeders) and hold quite a bit of water. The only negative aspect I see and the reason for only four stars out of five is it is slightly flimsy. It still works for us extremely well since it sits against the wall and our dogs do not mess with the feeders. However, the puppy is sometimes able to easily slide it if he "attacks" his food overzealously. To sum up, i still feel it's a great product with four important (to *us*) features: it's taller than most other feeders, catches some of spillage yet is easy to clean up, bowls are large. I definitely recommend.

This a great feeder. I love the color, and the bowls and plastic are very easy to keep clean. I looked at many feeders but was worried about the clean up and mold factor for puddling water. This feeder is no problem! And it is the perfect height for my boxer! It is very lightweight but does not shift when the dog is near. It's got a great stance

My 9 year-old German Shepherd is having disc issues and intermittent spells of decreased, difficult & uncomfortable movement. The vet had suggested elevating the kibble & water bowls so I hopped on Amazon.com after researching the pros & cons (didn't find any 'cons'). I next checked different products, styles and reviews. Functionality mattered, ease of that functionality mattered and because of our shepherd's size (she's a big girl), the height, feed & water bowl size mattered. I ordered the Bergan based on comments, price & functionality comparisons. It arrived in the biggest box, bigger than necessary ... so much larger that I was mystified what might be in it, thinking I'd forgotten what I might have ordered, etc. It was well-wrapped and ... well, I imagine the box was what was available at the packing moment (but this has nothing to do with the Bergan itself! Excuse my rambling.) Out of the box, the extra large feeder was easily assembled; simply snapped into place. The bowls are easily removed for washing and the entire feeder is simple to clean. The Bergan has measured up & I'm glad we've gotten it for Lucy! Our other pup, a 1 yr-old Staffordshire, was determined to eat from the quite elevated bowl ... so we ordered one more her size ... it arrived already assembled in a reasonably-sized box. We're all pleased now! Thank you, Bergan, for making a functional, attractive, easy-to-use elevated feeder in different sizes for a reasonable price!

I purchased two Bergan extra large elevated dog feeders,one for each of my Greyhounds.They are the perfect height.The units snap together so very easy, that even a caveman can do it.They are sturdy and they do not move when my dogs are eating from them.

We just got this Bergan Elevated Feeder today. Our dog has a torn ACL and is getting surgery this week. We felt this would help him not to have to put so much pressure on his legs to bend down for his food. I have to say, it is the perfect height! The bowls are the same size as he had before and the stainless steel is nice. I was worried about the height, but it is perfect for our 130 lbs Rotti. The only thing I am worried about is the bottom portion (the tan colored portion). It seems a bit flimsy. I wish it was made a little stronger and had non-skid or non-slide caps on the bottom. We have it up against a wall so we hope it will not slide much but that would make this product even better! Overall, I would say it was a good buy and just what he needed.
