I bought this item as a prop in my dog rescue calendar shoot that was fairy tale themed. I would not give this to dogs who are even moderate chewers, but it might be a good toys for kids over 3.
If your going to get this, get the small version. Written from experience on having both the small and large version of this dog toy the large one is far less durable. While the small version lasted probably a year+ I don't think we even got a month out of the larger version probably because there is a lot of empty space in side making it less rigid overall. this is good thing to note by the way when buying any dog toy. My dog Magee who is a Boxer is not a heavy chewer but she does love play with her toys. More compact toys made of harder rubber or whatever they use to make these things is always the way to. If it feels too easy to squeeze and soft than I can almost assure you that your dog will tear it up quick.
