My old cat could care less but she doesn't play much any more, my kitten loves it though, he plays with the mouse and sticks his feet in all the holes playing with the little balls inside. Last night he played for at least a half hour just with this toy. It doesn't' seem to tip over when the mouse is batted and the plastic all seems to be sturdy, it should last a long time, hope the cat continues to play with it.

The Alfie Lifestyle Yellow chase ball with the spring teaser works fine. Only two comments on the photo is looks like the top is greenish. In reality it is nice yellow color no green tint at all. The bottom is darker unsaturated orange, as shown. The base is fairly lightweight so it turns over often when cats play with it.

I've got a 4-yr old cat who is most intrigued by the tail feathers on one item. She's a bit intimidated by the furry item on the spring because it bounces. She ignores the ball with a bell in it. I think this item is more meant for a young cat or kitten.

They bat at it every so often but it mainly serves as a trophy to fight over. One will sleep on the base and the other decides ther should be a change in occupancy. They don't play WITH it so much as NEAR it.

I purchased this for my lil girl ferret as I had something similar for my ferrets long time ago. First thing I noticed when I received it was the gap around the ring was too narrow for the ferret to fit her head through, they love to put their heads in to chase the ball around in the circle, not this one. In frustration she grabs the whole thing with her teeth and drags it around the room, flipping it and trying to toss it.

She likes the lil ball in it through, but it would of been much cheaper to just buy her bags of balls if that was what she wanted.
