We don't own a cat. My baby girl fell in love with this at a friend's house, and I had to track it down for her. We keep it on her stroller and she really enjoys it.

I thought my cats would love this. I thought, " How fun! what a great idea! I could move it around the house and put it on different surfaces to keep it new and exciting." Well, they couldn't care less for it. The thin rope holding the mouse was more of an interest for them. The toy isn't even tempting, there is NOTHING enticing about this toy. It dangles FLAT against whatever surface it's placed on. Not to mention EVERY SINGLE SURFACE I PUT IT ON IT WOULD SLIDE RIGHT OFF WITHIN AT LEAST 10mins of sticking it on!! To get it to stick I tried everything; warm water, cleaning the surfaces well b4 applying this toy and tried every surface appropriate for my cats to play near... NOT A GOOD SUCTION CUP AT ALL. Then, whenever my cats would decide to give it a try, THE DARN THING WOULD SLIDE RIGHT OFF WITH JUST THE SLIGHTEST PLAYFUL TUG OR SWAT. Even if you tried to using a different suction cup the toy is STILL NOT worth the adjustments. It's not a fun toy at all!!! CATS WERE BORED FROM ALMOST THE VERY SECOND THEY SAW IT.

I have 4 cats and all but two are different ages. The youngest maybe 6 months old...NONE WERE AMUSED BY IT.
I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS ITEM AT ALL.

I attached this to the window above one of our window perches and the kitties loved it. Very cute idea. Well made. Just ordered more.My cats loved this so much that I have now ordered a total of four!
