Omega Paw HSCP Horizontal Scratching Post - Assorted Colors

I use these to protect the corners of my couch and bed. The base is made perfectly to fit under a leg of the larger piece of furniture which gives the post the leverage it needs to stand up solidly. The cats will scratch on the post instead of the furniture. I have bought at least a dozen of these and I love them (more importantly, 3 cats love them). They are definitely not useful for stand-alone scratching posts, but when they're abutted against other furniture, they work extremely well.

Our cat loves it. He is, however, larger than the post so he knocks it around. He does use it, plays with it and sleeps on it. We would buy another one

I bought this in hopes it would entice my cats to scratch this instead of my furniture. It is smaller than expected. I have seven cats and none of them have used it. They will scratch on the cardboard circles that come in other toys. Hoped they would like this one too but I guess they didn't.
