Valencia Cat Tree

My cats like this scratch post. It also goes right up to the window so it acts as like a window perch for them to do their daily bird watching. Only complaintthe dangly ball thing on the side; my cats ripped that off in .02 seconds. Otherwise works great, functional, and cats use it on a fairly regular basis.

My one year old calico cat spent the first five months of her life at animal control, where she was in a tiny cage surrounded by barking dogs. She is a happy kitty but has some stress related to our Akita and two older boy cats invading her space so our vet suggested I get her a small space to hide in.

She adores this cat tree. The entry to her hideyhole is too small for my bigger cats, but perfect for her to peer out and see what's going on. She loves the hanging ball, which rattles when she attacks it, and enjoys sitting on the platforms, watching everything that is going on. The material is very soft, but it does shed a little so it may aggravate your allergies, especially when you first take it out of the box.

Between the cat tree and the Feliway Plug-In Diffuser with Refill, 48 Milliliters we got her she is a relaxed and happy kitty.

Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with my jealous older cats...

The reviews here are all right.. its soft no padding. You can feel the screw underneath the carpet. My cat is only 9 lbs but it is a little small for him. My kitten loves it but chewed the toy ball off in 1 day. This needs to be a bit wider and taller my adult cat cant really use the scratching posts because he is too tall and the scratching posts is really why I purchased this. It is alright and wont tip over but don't buy if your cat is over 10 lbs

It went together great and was solid in design, however there is no padding on the landings, and their size is a mere 10.25" square (Fabric over wood, literally). My small 8-lb. cat didn't even know what to do with that so he ignored it. Until I jeri-rigged it taking the original fittings and re-using them in larger landings (14.5" x12"), then upholstered well with lots of batting. At this price, I would do it again BUT, I would have liked to be warned.

It's good size for small NYC apt.,provides entertainment for my . He hates the bottom part and never goes there. It's to small for him and he is only 6pounds.I store his toys there which is useful. However, he likes to scratch his nails on the posts. I a have to say they are amazing quality it had been almost 6month since I got it and posts are still looking great, it was my main goal.

He plays with the ball,it fell of within 3days because string was a bad quality. I replaced it and it works just fine.

He never sleeps on the top part,because when he dozes of on it he falls down. I think it would be perfect for a kitty.
