The toy stands up to a fair amount of play. The only problem is that the string was MUCH shorter than expected. I was expecting 2-3 feet to allow it to be danced around, but there was less than a foot. The cat spent as much time watching the handle as it did the toy.
My cats loved this toy until they tore it up. It is very enticing if your cat is the type that likes feathers. Not very durable, but granted that's true of almost all feathery cat toys. Definitely worth the money, just don't expect it to last too long.
