Mr. Spats Cat a Comb

If you didn't know, cats have little oily scent glands on their "cheekbones" that they use to mark territory. Plus, most of them love to have their faces rubbed. I have one little tabby who was forever rubbing a corner in my hall which resulted in a nasty blackened spot on the paint. This device is a god-send, and the little kitty perpetrator loves the brush. and "most worthwhile product". THE VELCRO!!! This company should definitely change their Velcro to "INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH" Velcro, since the Velcro they enclose with the product is good for nothing. Their Velcro eventually pulls away from the wall or wherever it is placed, causing a half-on the wall half-off the wall Cat a Comb. I purchaed some industrial strength velcro, removed the pads that come with the wall comb, and now everybody is happy...especially my fur-babies. D-CAT-LOVER

My cat is nearly 17 years old. She's used a Mr. Spats Cat-a-Comb for 7 or 8 years. It is her favorite rubbing spot in the entire house saves her grubbing up the rest of the "corners" in the house. This product really does work. I didn't even have to "act like a cat and rub your face on it" as the package suggests to entice the cats to use the device. One of my cats smelled the catnip and started to just rub her face on it for several minutes. If you are having problems with your cat rubbing on places you don't want it to this product is for you.

Instead of velcro, the product comes with adhesive pads now.

I just got the cat a comb and my cat loves it, so it is very frustrating when it constantly comes off the wall.
