I purchased Kong Catnip to try something different. That may have been a mistake. My cats loved this stuff! However, here is the problem; when I ran out and purchased another brand (more in a tub & cheaper) and put it on their tennis balls, they ignored them. Their tennis balls have been sitting in the same place for 4 days with the cheaper cat nip on them. I have 3 Catnip Snobs! No, I don't run the house...it's theirs. I'm just their servent. Aren't we all? I'm going to buy more of Kong Catnip. My kitties really enjoy it.

I don't know whether mine was not fresh or what ? but my cats were nowhere near as excited about this product as the other catnips I bought in the past. Actually I did not see any reaction from them after inhaling this product. It's like I bought very expensive finely chopped grass in a jar.

I agree with several others. My cats did NOT go wild for this catnip. They seem to get more excited over some I got from the Dollar store. Also the "free cat toy" is a wad of paper that looks like several brown candy wrappers from the bottom of a Russell Stover's chocolate box glued together. And I bought that huge jar! Oh, well. Live and learn.
